Small Talk Speech Therapy is owned and operated by Sawsan Jamal, M.S., CCC SLP, and is proudly based in San Antonio, Texas. Sawsan earned her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders from Syracuse University and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. She is also a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas.

Sawsan’s passion is helping children find their confidence and supporting families through every step of the journey. She believes that real progress begins with trust, connection, and genuine care. Building meaningful relationships with each child and family is at the heart of her work. Because every child learns in their own unique way, Sawsan creates therapy plans that honor each child’s strengths, needs, and personality.

Outside of her work with families, Sawsan continues to grow through ongoing education and cherishes time with her own family, whether they are watching movies, playing games, or enjoying time outdoors together.
